21 Jul – 3 Aug 2026 · Sprint 5 — Accommodations & Location

Added, edited and deleted accommodations with date overlap validation, a view-accommodations modal with current-stay highlighting, and Google Places API integration for location autocomplete on both activities and accommodations.

Sprint 4 — Activities

Built the trip planner page with a day selector, add/edit/delete for activities, time conflict validation, and activity sorting (timed activities by start time, untimed in creation order). Drag & drop deferred to Sprint 6.

Sprint 3 — Trip Management

Create, view, edit and delete trip modals, plus cover image upload. Trip days are now auto-generated on trip creation and edit.

Sprint 2 — Profile & Trips List

Profile dropdown, edit profile, change password, two-step change email flow, reset password, and the trips list page.

Sprint 1 — Authentication

Full auth flow: registration, email verification, login and logout, built on SHA-256 tokens with Spring Security session management.

Project scoped, originally planned around Thymeleaf and Gradle, later pivoted to Spring Boot, Vite and React.
